Information about domain names in .as

The .as top-level domain is the country code domain for American Samoa, a small territory in the South Pacific. Originally, it was intended for organizations and individuals with a connection to American Samoa, including local businesses, government bodies, and residents.

Over time, .as has also gained popularity outside its original geographic area, especially among companies and projects related to "AS" initials—such as "Anonymous Systems" or "Autonomous Solutions"—or even used creatively for words ending with "as." This flexibility has made .as an attractive choice for creative branding.

One key advantage of .as domains is their availability, as they're less saturated compared to more common TLDs like .com or .net. This increases the chances to secure short, memorable domain names, making it an appealing option for startups and personal projects.
