The ".citic" top-level domain (TLD) is a specialized domain extension primarily intended for the China CITIC Group and its affiliates. As a brand-specific domain, ".citic" enables CITIC to establish a distinct and authoritative online presence while clearly signaling authenticity to visitors.
This TLD is not open for general public registration; it is reserved exclusively for CITIC Group’s use. This protects the brand from misuse and ensures that any website ending in ".citic" is officially affiliated with the organization, thereby enhancing trust among clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Key advantages of ".citic" include improved brand recognition, greater security through restricted access, and a unified digital identity. Adopting a dedicated TLD helps reinforce corporate reputation in the digital landscape.
