Information about domain names in .ng

The ".ng" domain is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Nigeria. Managed by the Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA), this extension represents Nigeria’s unique online identity. It is officially recognized for Nigerian websites and digital projects.

.ng domains are primarily intended for Nigerian businesses, organizations, and individuals who want to showcase their connection to Nigeria. However, it is also accessible to non-Nigerian entities seeking to establish a strong presence in the Nigerian market or community.

Choosing a ".ng" domain provides the advantage of local trust and recognition among Nigerian internet users. It can also offer better availability for short, relevant names and sometimes improved search engine rankings in Nigeria.
