Information about domain names in .uz

The .uz domain is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Uzbekistan. Created in 1995, it is managed by the local registry and is primarily intended for entities connected with Uzbekistan, including businesses, government organizations, and individuals residing or operating in the country.

This extension is particularly suitable for companies targeting the Uzbek market, as well as for cultural, educational, and governmental sites based in Uzbekistan. It assures visitors that the website belongs to or serves the Uzbek community, making it a valuable tool for local branding and trust.

One of the main advantages of the .uz domain is its association with local identity and reliability. It offers shorter and more meaningful domain names for Uzbek businesses, and is recognized by both local and international internet users as the official domain space for Uzbekistan.
